POPULATION FOCUS
My training and experiences as a therapist have taught me the importance of facilitating the client’s growth. I provide a safe and supportive environment for the client to learn about him or herself, manage distress, reframe experiences, and practice coping strategies for life’s many challenges. I use CBT in my practice to teach clients how to manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I also use psychoeducation to teach clients about communication, verbalizing their wishes and goals, and challenge them to grow. In my spare time, I love running on the beach and reading novels under my beach umbrella.
