HELLO I’M ASHLEY,
I believe therapy to be an important relationship, in which you feel heard, understood, and safe, while also being open to new challenges for growth. My goal as your therapist is to work with you collaboratively to foster an approachable catalyst for change.
I graduated from National University with my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. I completed my practicum at High Tech High school in San Marcos, CA, where I counseled adolescents and their families with a collaborative and empathic approach. It was during my yearlong practicum I found a passion for working with the adolescent population.
After graduating from National University, I spent the last two years at a county-contracted outpatient mental health clinic treating adults with a wide array of mental health disorders and chronic mental illness. In addition, I have experience in substance use/abuse disorders.
I look forward to working with you on your journey of growth and healing.
