The Journey of Insightful Matters
Our story is one of growth, dedication, and a commitment to providing accessible mental health care to our community.
Insightful Matters began as a solo practice, founded by Alison Johnson.
With a deep commitment to helping her clients, Alison quickly gained a reputation for her compassionate and effective therapy. Her practice grew organically through word-of-mouth referrals, and soon she found herself with more clients than she could handle.
To meet the increasing demand for her services, Alison began to expand her team. She carefully selected skilled and compassionate therapists to join Insightful Matters, ensuring each new team member shared her dedication to high-quality care. Today, our practice includes a diverse group of therapists, including many Associate Therapists and Med Management specialists who bring fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to mental health care.
Each team member is committed to providing accessible, inclusive, and flexible care to our clients, which has allowed people experiencing a wide range of mental health issues to get the proper care and compassion suited to their needs.
At Insightful Matters, our goal is to provide accessible care to everyone in our community. We believe in the importance of diversity, inclusion, and accommodation in mental health services. We are proud to accept a variety of insurance plans, and offer flexible therapy options including virtual sessions, making care even more accessible to those who see us.
What makes Insightful Matters unique is our comprehensive approach to mental health care. Our practice stands out due to inclusive services, specialized therapies, and our multilingual staff. We also provide therapy for children starting as young as five years old, and members of our team are trained in EMDR and other advanced therapeutic techniques to better serve our diverse community. Additionally, we have experience in Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) that span from a large entertainment company to working onsite at a school; we are looking to expand these partnerships as part of our commitment to accessible care in various settings. As we continue to grow, our vision remains clear: to provide accessible, high-quality mental health care to all.
