HELLO I’M TERRI,
My name is Terri Williams. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. It is my intention to work collaboratively with adolescents, adults, and families to overcome difficulties and to find healing and growth to live life to the fullest.
I am passionate about helping others navigate difficult times in life. My background is working with adolescents and their families. I desire to help clients who are experiencing crisis situations, grief, and trauma. I have a heart for working with women who are in challenging relationships. I have had the privilege of working with LGBTQ clients. I also enjoy working with individuals from different backgrounds. It is my goal to be able to help all clients along their paths to well-being.
I use a blend of different approaches to therapy including a Humanistic Approach, Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Family Systems Therapy. Utilizing a strength-based approach, I recognize every individual is born with their own unique positive inner potential. It is my goal to help individuals recognize their innate strengths and develop healthy resilience, believing that hardships can be an opportunity for personal growth and transformation.
It is a privilege to be able to provide a safe, honest, non-judgmental space for clients to share and find hope. The therapeutic relationship is built on trust and collaboration. It would be an honor to sit with you and hear your story.
