HELLO I’M YASMEEN,

Hello! My name is Yasmeen Elbanna (yes-meen el-ben-nah), and I am an associate marriage and family therapist. My goal is to support you through your hardships, highlight your accomplishments, and help you meet your goals in therapy. Whether that is a struggle with academics, self-esteem, substance use, or anxiety/depression, I am here with you to work through it step by step. As a human and therapist, I describe myself as humorous, compassionate, and authentic. I will make sure to do my best to provide a safe space but challenge you (gently) for the personal growth you are looking for. I have experience working with young children, teenagers, and adults who have struggled with family hardships, substance use, communication, anxiety, and depression. I utilize different techniques from therapeutic modalities such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
